Frank Jarvis 1940 - 2010, he played characters in three Doctor Who stories. He first appeared in the 1966 story The War Machines as a corporal; then it wasn't until Tom Baker assumed the role that he returned to the series to play Ankh in the 1978 CSO-laden story Underworld. A year later he featured as swampie Skart in The Power of Kroll.

They refer to correspondence republished by Shaun Usher that the BBC sent out to people asking for construction details, what the article doesn’t reveal is that the “blueprints” were reproduced from their original source using a revolutionary technique known as “photocopying”. The construction instructions came from a Radio Times Special published in 1973 to commemorate that year’s tenth anniversary of Doctor Who.
