chris_hart01's moblog has The Build Diaries, "Movie Red, Supreme Dalek" Invasion Earth 2050, "now although this Dalek looks in pristine condition nothing would be furthest from it. I bought him back in the late eightys, from an auction at Longleat house, he was in bits, parts missing, and in those days no digital cameras, so no photos of him in the state i got him in. £200 payed for as my then wife thought was a waste of money. still i was determined to have a go and rebuild him...."

Tony Lee has posted Gallifrey One Schedule…, "in just under a week, next Tuesday in fact, I fly over to Los Angeles. And, after a couple of days of meetings, dinners, long breakfasts with producers and suchlike, I’m a guest at the 22nd Gallifrey One Doctor Who convention...."

Andrew Skilleter has The Art of Doctor Who Calendar, "it’s been longer than I would have wished  since my last post but amongst other things, I was inspired to create a new art calendar that took a great deal of intensive effort over a short period at the exclusion of most other tasks...."

Big Finish has February Podcast 002 - 09 February 2011, time for another podcast, with Nick Briggs, Paul Spragg and almost special guest star Rob Shearman. They discuss sport for too long and then David Richardson and Lisa Bowerman appear to talk about the new Companion Chronicle, The Perpetual Bond (with some really funky Sixties music!).

Springfield Punx has Doctor Who's Captain Jack, "I've never actually seen that Torchwood show, so I don't know a ton about Captain Jack, but in his Doctor Who episodes, it was cool to see him in his 'fatal-to-any-other-man' situations"

Bigger On The Inside has Love & Monsters, "last time I looked at centring a campaign around a group similar to LINDA but ‘Love & Monsters’ has plenty of material that is useful for a regular game. Your player characters will have an impact on others just as the Doctor does and who knows what the consequences might be....."

Classical Gallifrey has Serial 134: Planet of Fire, the decision to cast Nicola Bryant as the new companion was actually met with some surprise and a bit of controversy, especially as time went on. This being Bryant's very first television acting role, she didn't have much experience; she would be portraying American botany student Perpugilliam Brown, and as a press stunt since nobody really knew who this girl was, she feigned an accent and they let everyone believe for the longest time that she actually was American....

MrTARDISreviews has YouTubed Doctor Who Review - The Long Game (2005), new companion Adam Mitchell takes his first trip in the TARDIS. The ship materialises in Satellite 5, a space station that broadcasts across the entire Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire. However, those who are promoted to Floor 500 simply disappear; humanity might be being manipulated by the news - and who exactly is the sinister Editor's employer?

The Edwardian Adventurer has 086 – Mission to the Unknown, this episode is unique for many reasons.  First, The Doctor does not appear, and neither do any of the companions. This is the only episode in the history of Doctor Who where this has happened. Second, what seems to be the beginning of a new serial, is followed by a completely different story....

Doc Oho's Big Finish audios reviews has Pier Pressure written by Rupert Ross and directed by Gary Russell, Brighton, Sussex; 1936 "Ere, listen listen, I've got one for you. There once was this bloke, you see. Good-looking sort of chap. Lovely, brightly coloured coat. No rubbish. Quality gear. Never bought a drink neither... or so they say. But his name wasn't Miller. Oh no, there'll never be another Cheeky Chappie, lady, there'll never be another.....

Doctor Who Filming  The TW UK shoot wrap party took place last night, which suggests that filming over here is winding up (at least until around the 19th). Guess this means we're back to the US "TW-Spy!" tidbits to keep us going for a while (e.g. Rachel Leah Cohen revealing her name in the show as "Laurie" in a twitpic ). Not to mention Jane Espenson's "Oh my! Sexy happenings on the Torchwood set today" ...
