The final Dalek Chronicle Episode Sixteen The Road to Conflict (AV24) is now available to order for only the price of a blank CD and return postage and packaging from all our usual dubsites around the world.
Adapted from the concluding adventure in the original run of comic strips that ran in TV Century 21 back in 1965 - 1966, this fully animated CGI adventure sees the Daleks finally discovering the location of the planet Earth!
But that’s not all for this exciting conclusion to the series, as the disc is also jam-packed with special bonus features:
● Commentary track recorded by Stuart Palmer and Road to Conflict cast member Bryan McCormack (Captain Fleet), complete with absurdly detailed production notes about the making of the film.
● Invasion Earth - The Road to Conflict may conclude the original comic strip run, but where was it heading? Does it tie into the then recently released film adaptation Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150 AD? Do the Dalek Chronicles act as a prequel to the invasion of the Solar System depicted in The Dalek Book? Is the Doctor Who Magazine strip Return of the Elders the true heir to the Dalek Chronicles throne? With fully animated dramatic excerpts, we take a look at all the possibilities in this in-depth documentary narrated by none other than Captain Fleet (AKA Bryan McCormack).
● Sixteen Things The Dalek Chronicles Taught Me About Life - A light-hearted look back at the sixteen stories that make up The Dalek Chronicles and the wholesome moral messages they have to offer us. I live my life by them. Promise.
As always, covers for both DVD and CD style cases are available for download, along with a snazzy label for the disc, so The Road to Conflict can sit proudly on your shelf as the final chapter in the set.
As is traditional in these parts, the release of a new production heralds a massive update to the site. This time round we have a clip from the new production on the Theatre Page plus new Wallpapers celebrating not only The Road to Conflict but also the complete run of The Dalek Chronicles. We have a new gallery showcasing our latest production, the final batch of entries in our now fully-comprehensive Chronicles Encyclopedia and a selection of new reviews for some of our recent titles, plus updates to pages such as Who’s Who and Future Projects.
However, by far the biggest change is the addition to the site is a massive four new articles detailing the comic strip exploits of the Tenth Doctor. Covering all of his comic strips in Doctor Who Magazine, Doctor Who Adventures, Doctor Who Battles in Time and IDW’s Doctor Who title, not to mention annuals and storybooks, this frankly enormous series of articles is illustrated with almost six hundred covers and examples of artwork from the strips.
