BBC Doctor Who - Your Favourite Moments, Part Three

BBC - Doctor Who

It's time for the third and final look at your favourite moments from A Christmas Carol and this time it's everything from sharks to larks with Marilyn Monroe...

Ashleigh told us, 'After counting down the hours and minutes until the Doctor Who Christmas special ... I loved the concept that Christmas was celebrated as being 'half way out of the dark'. Amie also liked this idea and called the whole adventure 'A perfect episode to watch while eating jelly babies at Christmas!' Hear hear!

Stef and Oliver loved the moment with the psychic paper and the line, 'I am universally recognised as a mature, responsible adult.' Paula got in to touch to ask, 'Recognised by whom, I would like to know...' Okay. You've got us there!

The Doctor's involvement with Marilyn Monroe was enjoyed by John, Holly, Diana, Callum and Libbie. Connor, Jerome, Samuel, Luke, Mel and many more loved the moments with the fish and when the shark attacks whilst Emilio's highlights were the scenes with Amy and Rory onboard the ship.

Fiona revealed, 'When I was a child I would have given my eye teeth to see the Doctor waltz into my bedroom and take me off on an adventure' and one of her highlights was the 'shark ride'. That moment was also selected by many people including Bethan, Theo, Rachel, Toby, Zoe, Mark, Sean and Harri.

And so our final clip is the magical moment where the Doctor, Kazran and Abigail take to the skies in a carriage tugged by a flying shark.

Massive thanks to everyone who contacted us and for all your kind comments about the site and Doctor Who in general. We know it takes time to get in touch and we really appreciate every message that you send. Thank you!

Our final word today goes to someone calling themselves 'Doctor 11'. She wrote, 'I loved how the time flew when the Doctor and Kazran would open Abigail's chamber and how Kazran was starting to fall in love with Abigail.' She then asked if we could arrange for the Doctor to visit her in the USA... Sadly, we can't guarantee that the TARDIS will be materialising in your neighbourhood anytime soon, but if you want to see the Doctor in America, then you don't have too long wait... But that's another story: Coming soon!
