Metro has Matt Smith: Steven Moffat has 'written his best script yet', Smith is filming the next series of Doctor Who right now, and says he's currently trying to cope with the demands of night shoots: 'I’m trying to attune my body clock to staying up until six in the morning and waking up at one in the afternoon. It’s always a bit weird. And we’re in a quarry so it’s freezing. Classic Doctor Who location…'

The Confessions of Who has Missing Episode Reconstructions, audio sountracks exist for all the missing episodes, which has allowed the BBC to release the audio soundtracks on CD, with supporting narration. The odd surviving episodes from these stories, known as 'orphaned' episodes, were released on video in the Hartnell Years, Troughton Years, Daleks - The Early Years, and Cybermen - The Early Years compilations, and on DVD as the 'Lost in Time' compilation, both of which included many of the surviving clips from lost episodes.

Who Fix has The Wrath of Kraal, OK, who stuck toilet paper on the window?

The Nerdist has Doctor Who for Newbies: The Third Doctor, the 1970s began as a real turning point for Doctor Who.  Patrick Troughton had vacated the title role after three popular seasons along with co-stars and main production team. Doctor Who’s continued success was certainly up in the air.  As was common for the show, the exiting producer was in charge of casting the next lead actor and making the following season’s premiere story.  Derrick Sherwin had been the script editor from 1968-1969 and became producer for the remainder of season 6.

Blogtor Who has Review: Revisitations DVD box set [Part 2], essentially, there's about an hour's worth of the new material for Androzani over the two discs, and it's an excellent hour. But this is one of the very rare times in the DVD series where the main feature outshines its extras.

Silver Devastation has On Doctor Who and the Cave-Monsters, aside from being beautifully illustrated (by Chris Achilleos), it’s still a page-turner now that I’m in my 40s.

Tea with Morbius has Love and War (Virgin New Adventure), the Seventh Doctor takes his manipulation too far and finally loses the trust of Ace.

OAFE takes a look at the "Tomb of the Cybermen" Cyber Controller, ...even Character Options mania for new sculpts for the filmsiest of reasons has limits, and apparently adding a teensy bit of height to the standard [sure, he LOOKS bigger, but he's on a pedestal] "Tomb of the Cybermen" body is that limit.
