From the Doctor Who story The Green Death, (1973) when Jon Pertwee was the incumbant Timelord. The Doctor can't be arsed with being UNIT's dogsbody anymore so decides to turn down the Brigadier's call for help with a troublesome mine in Wales. Instead he favours a trip to the famous blue planet Metebelis 3. However, when he arrives he finds it isn't quite the utopia he had imagined. Barely has he stepped out of the TARDIS when he is menaced by all manner of creatures. Possibly some considerable time later he flees back to the TARDIS, pursued by unseen tribesmen and giant bird.
