Blogtor Who has posted Review: The Sarah Jane Adventures, "The Nightmare Man", incredibly, the Doctor Who spin-off is now in its fourth series and, by the signs of this opening two-parter and the second story too (but more of that in a few days), it's as good as ever. I have to say that I was slightly surprised to see the opening tale, usually an entertaining, upbeat romp (Prisoner of the Judoon, for example), was to be written by Joseph Lidster.....

Tea with Morbius
has Full Fathom Five (Big Finish Unbound Audio), this full-cast audioplay is part of Big Finish's Unbound Adventures series, a set of stories imagining the Doctor Who universe with key canonical notions rejected. This play portrays a Doctor who is prepared to commit cold-blooded murder to achieve his ends.

Shadowlocked reviews The Brain Of Morbius, continuing the trend for taking inspiration from classic horror films at pace, The Brain Of Morbius ups the gothic horror ante further. This time around, the source is Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (or The Modern Prometheus as an alternative title) – both stories feature a mad scientist creating a vicious monster that ends up going on the rampage. Doctor Who  of course, needs the sci-fi twist, which in this case is the fact that the monster houses the brain of renegade Time Lord, Morbius.

The Tardis Project has Special Post: "Dr. Who and the Daleks", "to celebrate reaching the end of Season Two, we've decided to watch the first Aaru film, which was released in late summer of 1965, right around the point where we are in the Project. I'm pretty sure that, although some of us had heard of this (in)famous Peter Cushing classic, none of us ("us" being myself, Ketina, Ronelyn, Schmallturm, Spoo, MiniSpoo and Photobug) had actually seen it. So, not knowing quite what to expect, we settled down in front of the TV to watch..."

The Cultdom Chronicles has Cultdom Commentary: Love & Monsters, Ian, Dave & Mike get together in the basement for another commentary, this time P.S. We don’t have a bathroom…
