Shadowlocked has Doctor Who And The Electrans, "some comments on my review of the Doctor Who Christmas Special 'A Christmas Carol' got me thinking about how it came to be that everyone's favourite Time Lord can never seem to get any 'action', romantically speaking. It's not been for want of attention or admirers; even back in the William Hartnell days, The Doctor was capable of flirting and even having a matrimonial 'near-miss' in the 1964 Who outing 'The Aztecs', so Matt Smith's Doctor is breaking no new ground in running away from connubial bliss with the 1957 version of Marilyn Monroe in 'A Christmas Carol'....."
The Doctor Who. Retold has The Doctor Who and the One more Tune, “Please The Doctor Who, I’m tired and weak and I must return to my chamber,” says Abigail, “Ah, give us another tune,” insists The Doctor Who (just as he insists every Christmas after opening the ice box and making the timer run down), “Well, one more but then I really must return to my rest for fear of death,” says a weary Abigail before bursting into song and delighting The Doctor Who and various floating cod and haddock.....
alun.vega's posterous has Celestial Toymaking, "as a child, the best part of Christmas for me was after all the fuss of the big day itself, when I could spend quiet time assembling a complicated model. So today I've been indulging my inner 8-year-old, as a wise man once said, "There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes....."
Bigger On The Inside has “Have I ever, in my thirty years in the halls, seen such a dazzling display of lustrous legerdemain?", to make your adventures come alive, so they aren’t just backdrops for the action scenes, you need engaging characters that the players will remember. Long after they’ve forgotten which adventure they were fighting Cybermen or Daleks they’ll remember their encounter with the vain duellist, the lonely astronaut who wrote songs that no one would hear or the macho security guard who dotted on his sick cat. Doc Oho's Big Finish audios reviews has The Hive of Horror written by Paul Magrs and directed by Kate Thomas, Its time for the final confrontation with the Queen of the swarm…, large as life and just as impossible, an aggravating cross between Sherlock Holmes and the Mad Hatter. He thinks he flourishes with wit and debonair style. He would be very disappointed if Mrs Wibbesey turned out to be the hornet Queen, it would be such a disappointing ending for him.....
TARDIS Adventures has Story 033: The Moonbase, this story was not as infuriatingly bad as The Underwater Menace, but what it lacked in crappiness, it made up for in boringness. Not helping matters, the reconstructions I watched did not feature any descriptions of what was happening. So there were long stretches of just disconnected audio with no dialogue. It’s difficult to tell what’s going on in those scenes....
The Edwardian Adventurer has 053 – Desperate Measures (The Rescue Part 2), the Doctor, Ian, and Barbara meet Vicki and Bennett, the two survivors of the crash, and try to convince them to leave the planet Dido, It was Red Herring all along!, “You‘re right! I‘ve been here a long time! I know what it‘s like here. You‘ve only just come and you‘re trying to ruin things! Nobody asked you to come here! Nobody!”
Classical Gallifrey has Serial 145: Terror of the Vervoids - The Trial of a Time Lord Part III, "Oh god, Pip and Jane, that was my first thought upon finding out who happened to write this third segment of "Trial of a Time Lord", especially since the last Doctor Who encounter with them turned out to be less than satisfactory. Apparently Script Editor Saward thought so too, because he wasn't exactly keen on working with this team again, but due to a bunch of delays and unsuitable scripts to constitute the second to last segment of the Trial, they really had no choice--apparently these two churned out work like nobody's business, which is important for a TV show with a rapidly approaching production deadline......"Podcast Review's...

Doctor Who Spoilers has The Man from Uncle, "a while ago we broke the news that Elizabeth Berrington was going to be playing a character called Auntie in one of the episodes directed by Richard Clark. Based on a tweet by Clark during filming we theorised that Auntie and Uncle were characters in episode 3. Neil Gaiman subsequently confirmed that Auntie did appear in his story. Which left us all wondering – who’s Uncle? The answer is – he’s played by Adrian Schiller.....
