The BBC has released the first promotional images from Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol. And there’s a quick outline of what to expect, too…
Last week, in case you missed it, we had the very first trailer from Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol, this year’s Yuletide special of the show. Penned by Steven Moffat, you can see the trailer right here, in case you missed it.
Following that, and on the back of the BBC’s Christmas programming announcement that we reported yesterday, the Beeb has now also released promotional imagery from the episode. And what’s more, we have the following synopsis, too.“Amy and Rory are trapped on a crashing space liner, and the only way The Doctor can rescue them is to save the soul of a lonely old miser, in a festive edition of the time-travelling adventure, written by Steven Moffat. But is Kazran Sardick, the richest man in Sardicktown, beyond redemption? And what is lurking in the fogs of Christmas Eve?Amy Pond is played by Karen Gillan, Rory Williams by Arthur Darvill, The Doctor by Matt Smith and Kazran Sardick by Michael Gambon.”The episode goes out, as you might expect, on Christmas Day.
