During this week in 1926, one question was being asked by newspapers, police and a public mesmerised by a mystery. Where was Agatha Christie?The hugely successful crime novelist had disappeared. Vanished, leaving no clue or indication as to where she might be. One of the largest manhunts the UK had ever seen was mounted with over 1000 police constables, civilians and aeroplanes involved in the search for Agatha Christie.
