io9 has Doctor Who Characters Who Deserve Awesome New Action Figures, "we finally got an awesome gift-set of all eleven Doctors, but there are still plenty of Doctor Who characters who merit their own plastic doppelgangers. From busty companions to penis-headed monsters, here's 20 Who characters who deserve action figures. Geronimo!"

The Chaser has Dalek sick of fans asking him to say ‘exterminate’, the star of the Doctor Who series, Dalek No. 3, says his career has suffered due to his continued typecasting as an extraterrestrial robot. The gripes are aired in his new autobiography Yes, I Can Climb Stairs, which was launched by Tom Baker on Thursday night.

Total Sci Fi has Sophie Aldred: My So-Called Glamorous Life (Dreamwatch Column), the ever-popular Doctor Who actress writes for Dreamwatch… "I was at a playgroup the other day when I noticed one of the other Mums eyeing me up in a rather strange fashion. ‘Oh no,’ I thought, ‘not Marmite smudges on my cheek again!’ As I furtively dabbed at my face with my sleeve she began to sidle up to me and finally confided sotto
voce and with a hint of pity in her voice, 'Aren’t you the person who used to be Sophie Aldred?'"

Tin Dog Podcast has TDP 148: The Lurkers at Sunlights Edge, starring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred with Philip Olivier, 1934: the TARDIS lands on a snowy island off the coast of Alaska – one that wasn’t there four years, three months and six days ago, according to the Doctor. The island is dominated by a vast, twisted citadel. Inside it, the Lurkers lie dreaming. It's said when they wake the world will end…

BBC Doctor Who has Happy Birthday Corrie!, a whole host of actors who've travelled the universe with the Doctor were busy in Weatherfield before meeting the Time Lord. Elizabeth Sladen starred in six episodes of Coronation Street in 1970, becoming better known as Sarah Jane Smith three years later. Bernard Cribbins, who played the stalwart Wilfred Mott and Mary Tamm (Romana, companion to the Fourth Doctor) also walked the cobbles before stepping into the TARDIS. Sarah Lancashire found fame in the Rovers Return and later played Miss Foster in the Tenth Doctor adventure Partners in Crime, whilst Suranne Jones -Karen McDonald in Corrie - guest stars in a 2011 episode of Doctor Who.

Two-minute Time Lord has 2MTL 179: Top Gear's Lessons for "Doctor Who USA", Top Gear America's taking it on the chin, dare I say unfairly, from the purist fans of the original. And that helps me predict whether Doctor Who will follow in The Office's footsteps as another BBC property being remade for U.S. audiences.

SFX
has Things We Love About Doctor Who Number 9: SEVENTIES JIGSAWS, modern-day jigsaws are dreary – just the same old BBC publicity stills. In the ’70s we saw the delights that result when you hand some jobbing artist a reference photo and leave them to get on with it.

The Doctor Who News Page has GT Auction for Terrence Higgins Trust, GT Magazine are currently holding an auction to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. A number of Doctor Who related items are featured in the auction, including signed posters of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, a signed picture of Katherine Jenkins from A Christmas Carol, and a signed Eleventh Doctor Crash Set, plus signed photos including Matt Smith's from Christopher and his Kind (Editor: eBay auction site here I'll also be posting the odd aution item on our sidebar and Twitter feed).

MissBeGotten has Dalek Cake Created by Fan,speciality online cake business 'Stacked' created the Dalek cake when manager Tenele Perkin's partner Martin came up with the idea for his birthday and put together detialed specifications.

TARDIS Scanner - Who Tube
has The Deserted Storm Trailer 2010, this is the final trailer before the proper filming starts for The Deserted Storm (working title).

DoctorWho.com has Meet Sylvester McCoy - The 7th Doctor!, enter to win an opportunity to meet the 7th Doctor, Sylvester McCoy, and see him in his onstage performance in Decline and Fall, playing from Tue 30th Nov 2010 through Sat 8th Jan 2011 at The Old Red Lion Theatre in London!

Crafty Tardis has Adipose, "my son, 4, kept on asking me to make him an Adipose. I have only been making Doctor Who amigurumi for the past few months, so I figure I try my hand at something new, here it is for everyone to see."

The Edwardian Adventurer has Doctor Who Inspirations – The Scarlet Pimpernel, they seek him here, they seek him there... this is the perfect synopsis for Doctor Who because at its core, this is the scope of the show.

Bigger On The Inside has 'Can’t you imagine an animal unless it’s flesh, blood and bone?’, the next story is variously known as ‘The Daleks’ or ‘The Mutants.’ It introduced one of the most iconic monsters to the series and established that the Doctor and his companions would be exploring realms of pure science fiction rather than just our own history.

Classical Gallifrey has Serial 151: Remembrance of the Daleks, the Doctor has to face Daleks. Always. It's like a rule, and if it isn't, I'm of the opinion that it should be. That's not to say that I approve of Dalek overexposure. I don't. But at least once per Doctor (more possible if he's got a long run), methinks.

Cultdom Chronicles has Commentary: Time Crash, for Christmas 2010 The Cultdom Collective Podcast with daveac, Ian ‘The6thDoctor’ and Mike ‘Rand__alThor’ bring you the third of our Dr Who Christmas Commentaries.

The Daily P.O.P. has Doctor Who and The Greatest Show in the Galaxy, the Doctor urges Ace to confront her fear only to find a greater evil than he could ever expected on the planet Segonax. Under the big top of the Psychic Circus lays a sinister force that demands to be entertained.

Unreality SF
has Doctor Who: Lurkers at Sunlight's Edge, ...is very much a classic Doctor Who story, and a well-done one, at that. It's not experimental, it's not cutting edge, but it is a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours..."
