Step Back in Time: Congratulations, Brian! (BBC Doctor Who)

BBC Doctor Who
Children's TV presenter, actor and all round legend, Brain Cant has been honoured by BAFTA with a special award for his outstanding contribution to children's programmes. He received his award on Sunday at the EA British Academy Children's Awards where BAFTA Chief Executive Amanda Berry called him 'one of the best loved presenters in children's television', adding he had made a 'unique contribution'.

Some Doctor Who fans may recall that Brian appeared in the First Doctor adventure, The Daleks' Master Plan, before re-appearing, in a different role, in the Second Doctor story, The Dominators. Brian particularly impressed in his second Doctor Who appearance, playing a character called Tensa who had the courage to stand up to the Dominators. For this week's Step Back in Time we present a clip from episode 3 of The Dominators and see Tensa outline the desperation of his people's plight...

Enjoy the sequence and congratulations, Brian!
